You may have heard of laser skin rejuvenation also called a laser peel, laser skin resurfacing, or lasabrasion. Whichever name you prefer, it is a procedure which utilizes precise beams of light to reduce wrinkles, scars and other imperfections on delicate areas of the body. Laser skin rejuvenation can be used to improve skin texture, pigmentation of the skin, and fine lines. It can even help to minimize bruising that has formed as a result of surgery or injections.

Lasky Aesthetic and Laser Center
Dr. Frankel has his patients manage their skin at the Lasky Aesthetic and Laser Center, which is across the street from his office at the Lasky Clinic. The center has an experienced staff and a myriad of state-of-the-art technologies to choose from in order to selectively treat patients individual needs. Treatment might be limited to skin care products or it might involve various non-invasive procedures or even lasering done in conjunction with surgery. Most importantly, whatever is recommended will be part of Dr. Frankel’s holistic plan for optimization.
How does it work?
Laser skin rejuvenation is a means of removing damaged outer layers of skin, allowing the healthy cells underneath to regenerate a smooth, bright appearance. Specially engineered lasers target blemishes while leaving healthy tissue intact. Additionally, it stimulates collagen growth under the skin, working to fill in wrinkles and fine lines. All in all, laser skin resurfacing is a wonderful and non-surgical way to restore vitality and health to your skin.
DR. FRANKEL’S NOTES
“The Lasky Aesthetic and Laser Center was developed by myself and three other physicians for the purpose of servicing our patients’ needs. The technologies and products for improving skin are constantly evolving and the facility allows us to house a large number of machines and to continually upgrade. The coordinator of our Laser Center works hand in hand with my patients to ensure that they are treated in an individualized fashion and informed of all current treatment options.
For those lasers treatments that are more aggressive or that require sedation I personally perform the procedures, whether they are being done as stand alone operations or in conjunction with other surgery.”
– Andrew Frankel, M.D.
